The below addendum is in reference to the section related to “Term of Office”:

Board Approved HABA bylaws 2021 state:

Director vacancies shall be elected annually by a vote of members to hold a three-year term, with no more than one-third of the directors elected each year. All directors shall hold office commencing January 1st of the year immediately following their election.  Directors may not hold more than two (2) successive and elected full terms in office, not including any service as a director appointed to fill a vacancy. If a position on the Board of Directors becomes vacant, the Board may appoint an individual to fill the remaining term of office for that calendar year

Amendment to be added : 

“Director vacancies shall be elected annually by a vote of members to hold a one or three-year term, respectively, to fill any and all vacancies for the 2023 term….”

The amendment will be removed from the bylaws on January 1st, 2024.
