B)   Discussion of Assessment DOE RFP

a.    Original language Requirement for Licensed Psychiatrist or Psychologist. 

b.    HABA letter to BOE/DOE reviewed

c.     DOE response letter reviewed

                                                              i.     Amended language now reads “ Masters level classified, certified or licensed behavior support and educational support AND have a minimum of 3 years documented training and supervised experience in the FBA and plan development within an educational setting”

C)   Need to promote HABA re-invigorate membership

a.    Provide study group for Certification exam application and exam readiness

b.    Publish newsletter

c.     Annual conference

d.    Offer workshops

                                                              i.     Families

                                                              ii.     Future ST pre employment hours (need 24)

                                                             iii.     Interact with UH

e.    Update website Justin/ Cat

i.     list all BCBA

f.      Fundraise

g.    Provide CEU’s for BCBA’s ($200 app fee)
